Our bloated public service received a juicy pay increase the week before an election. Everybody else is doing it pretty tough courtesy of the pandemic.
Ah, wasn’t expecting that. Most present governments are pay freezes, or even wage cuts for civil servants except for the politicians themselves. (If anything is out of place, or weird looking, I am just learning a bit of machine language.)
